I was wondering why the GCCC weren’t at all concerned about the M1 embarrassment for the games and now I know why. Just give them a whole lane to themselves so they can get around easily, and all of us locals can get stuffed. It's disgusting how little regard GCCC has for improving the Gold Coast for the us, when we are the ones who pay their wages.

The GCCC are spending all that money trying to show off for the commonwealth games and yet refused a request signed by 54 to install a light on a well used pathway, stating they couldn't afford it! People of the Gold Coast need to stand up to the council. They pay themselves top salaries and bonuses with taxpayers money and won’t spend any of it improving the place or supplying basic utilities.
