BATON IN A RUSH

The Queen’s Baton Relay will be celebrated in one of Australia’s historic gold rush towns today.

Day 51 of the relay in Australia will see the baton passed in Bendigo, Shepparton and Wangaratta as it heads to the north east of Victoria.

Multiple Commonwealth Games badminton medallist Rhonda Cator and 1984 Olympic cycling team pursuit gold medallist Dean Woods will be among the batonbearers.
