Series offers key practice

THE women’s Aussie Sevens will gain crucial match preparation ahead of the Commonwealth Games when they head to Las Vegas with the men’s team for a replica series against USA.

The women’s World Series doesn’t have its next event, Japan, until after the Games in April, meaning the Aussie team would not have played any competitive matches since the Sydney Sevens at the end of January.

USA will play a series over three days while the men’s World Series Las Vegas leg is in two weeks.
