Police lay down the naked law
TWEED police will continue to enforce legislation for anyone caught naked outside the “clothes optional” area at Tyagarah Beach after a series of recent serious sexual offences.
Police say there is a sign which clearly indicates the 800m “Clothes Optional Area” that visitors must adhere to. Those caught naked outside of the signed area could be committing offences.
Offences of a sexual nature will not be tolerated, a police spokesman said.
Police will be proactively patrolling the beach and Tyagarah Nature Resrve to curb any offensive behaviour.
