STEALING

MONEY that was withdrawn from a self-service checkout and left at the machine has been taken from a Pacific Pines supermarke­t.

On February 2, a customer withdrew the cash at 6.45pm before accidental­ly leaving the money behind.

A short time later a man went to the check-out, found the cash and then left the store without trying to hand it in. Police would like to talk to the man pictured who may have informatio­n about the incident.

POLICE are keen to speak to the people pictured in relation to a car taken from a Robina home last month.

On January a white 2016 Toyota Corolla with registrati­on plates 970 WQX stolen from Tullamarin­e Dr was involved in two petrol drive offs. On January 24 the car was spotted on CCTV footage after fuel was stolen from an Elanora petrol station on Casuarina Dr. It was also located at Binstead Way, Pacific Pines on January 28 at another petrol station where fuel was stolen. On February 2, the car was found burnt out on Remabay St, Burleigh Heads.

A MAN allegedly stuffed clothes down the front of his pants in a store before leaving without paying.

On February 3 a man entered a retail store inside a Biggera Waters shopping centre on Harbour Town Dr and placed several clothing items down the front of his pants.

The man then tried to leave the store without paying.

Despite security guards confrontin­g the man, he refused to return the items and ran from the store.
