A VERY SPECIAL VALENTINE’S DAY

-

KEFLEN Prestes and Annemie Decatte met at a work Christmas party in 2015 but a surprise encounter in Bali marked the beginning of their love story.

“After the Christmas party we started meeting for coffee,” Ms Decatte said.

“I’m Belgian and (Keflen) is Brazilian but we live at Varsity Lakes and were actually both going to Bali at the same time ... that was when we started our relationship, it was meant to be.”

Ms Decatte said her now-husband popped the question over lunch at Omeros Bros restaurant at Marina Mirage on Australia Day.

“He said ‘do you want to be my wife?’ and I was so surprised,” she said.

Yesterday the pair marked Valentine’s Day by getting married. “We had a private ceremony in a beautiful garden and went to lunch at Omeros Bros afterwards,” she said.
