SOME councillors may have second thoughts about visiting the public gallery before full council meetings.

Robina’s Hermann Vorster popped his head inside the gallery this week to talk to Bond University students only to cop a spray from a woman among a crowd of protesters.

“Sorry, I need to go to a meeting … I’ll come back … otherwise I can’t participate in the meeting,” he said, before making a hasty retreat.
