Weel races away with Yatala buy

A COMPANY linked to former V8 Supercar driver Paul Weel has bought an industrial property at Yatala for $6.24 million.

The 3000sq m facility at 59 Lahrs Rd was bought by Meap Property Pty Ltd.

Mr Weel is the sole director of Meap.

The seller was Cuono Biviano Developmen­ts (C.B.D.) Pty Ltd, associated with Cuono Biviano. Prestige Blending is the tenant at the purpose-built facility. It is a co-manufactur­er of dry dairy product blends and the two main blends it produces are Internatio­nal Protein and Evolve.

Adam Wills, of Colliers Internatio­nal, declined to comment on the sale.

Mr Weel is the co-founder of PWR Performanc­e Products, which he launched with his father Kees Weel. He raced 12 seasons in V8 Supercars with a best finish of 3rd in Adelaide in 2003.
