Half-siblings in winners’ circle

-

RELATED Gold Coast-trained horses Reindeer Moon and Fortensky have done their family proud.

The horses, who are from the Choisir mare Love’s Great, both won on Saturday.

Reindeer Moon, a threeyear-old filly trained by Helen Page, won her maiden at the Gold Coast while Fortensky, a four-year-old gelding from the Chris Waller satellite stable, won at Doomben.

Another half-relation, Old Trieste, ran third in the first race at Aquis Park for Coast trainer Maryann Brosnan.

Reindeer Moon is named after a novel set in prehistoric times. She is by Real Saga, hence the name.
