Beauty leading border assault

BRYAN Guy has labelled Angela’s Beauty the standout of his runners at Lismore today as the Gold Coast trainer prepares to take a strong team across the border.

Angela’s Beauty (Race 5) is one of four runners lining up for the stable at the meeting.

Watched (Race 7) and first starters Stately Manner (Race 1) and Upper Avenue (Race 2) are the other runners.

Angela’s Beauty has finished in the top four at her past two starts and drops in grade.

“It’s a nice race for Angela’s Beauty, coming back to a Class 1 and Maiden Plate,” Guy said.

“She gets in nicely and has drawn a nice alley.

“This is her sort of race.”
