Ready, set Ko in Open glory
SOUTH Korea’s Jin Young Ko led from go to whoa in the Australian Open for a feat not achieved on the LPGA Tour for almost 70 years.
The 22-year-old completed a wireto-wire victory at Kooyonga in Adelaide, winning by three strokes.
Ko became the first golfer in 67 years to win their first tournament as a full LPGA Tour member.
Meanwhile, Perth’s Daniel Fox joked he wasn’t a household name in his own home after he won the Coca-Cola Queensland PGA trophy.
