Offshore: Large swell is expected to continue on the Gold Coast today which will make heading offshore a dangerous idea. Plenty of spotted and Spanish mackerel reported at the close reefs off the Gold Coast.

Seaway: Yellowtail kingfish, amberjack and mulloway reported in the Seaway. Nice GTs around the wash and big tailor on poppers. There are also some mangrove jack to catch on live bait from the Seaway rockfalls. Broadwater/Jumpinpin:

Flathead reported around Millionair­es Row and Tipplers Channel. Fishing for whiting has been really good. Mangrove jack in the Runaway Bay canals and in the Coomera River. There have also been a few prawns around Jacobs Well.

Freshwater: Bass biting well throughout the Hinze Dam, Clear Island Waters and in the Coomera River.
