Starc in sight of leg-spinner

YOUNG leg-spinner Rashid Khan continued his march towards becoming the fastest-ever bowler to reach 100 ODI wickets with three more in Afghanistan’s win over Zimbabwe yesterday.

His 16 in the series won 4-1 by Afghanistan took him to 86 from 37 games in total.

Australian paceman Mitchell Starc holds the record for least ODIs to take 100 wickets, with 52.

After winning the toss in Sharjah and batting first, Afghanistan posted 9-241 from their 50 overs, before bowling out Zimbabwe for just 95.
