TEAMMATES think Nathan Peats is a pest but vital to the Gold Coast Titans’ chances this season.

And they are glad to see him back. Peats will make his return from a shoulder reconstruction in the Titans’ trial against the Warriors on the Sunshine Coast on Saturday.

Peats (pictured) was at his vocal best during a wet training session on the Gold Coast yesterday, barking orders to teammates.

“On and off the field he is very vocal so he can be a bit of a pest,” prop Leilani Latu said.

“I like that he is a little bit chirpy around the field. It brings a lot of calmness to the team.”

Coach Garth Brennan has named close to his best team for the Warriors trial, with Roosters recruit Michael Gordon to make his club debut and Ash Taylor to start at halfback.
