BLACK SWAN LAKE TOLL

FOR the record, concerned residents have produced admission numbers showing two dead birds from Black Swan Lake have been taken to the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital for testing.

Residents have supplied the admission details for a juvenile dusky moorhen found in a bin and an Australian grebe collected from the water since the lake has been filled in.

They have also documented a failed attempt on Wednesday to collect a purple swamp hen with a suspected broken foot.
