IT’S taken 45 years, but love has conquered all – at least for one Gold Coast couple.

Come March 22, when friends and family gather to witness Graham Newman and Gregory Peck tie the knot, the Gold Coast will celebrate with them. Younger generations growing up in a more enlightened Australia might question what all the fuss has been about, but older Australians familiar with the social taboos and narrow prejudices of the past understand what such couples have had to endure.
