Queensland batsman Chris Lynn needed just seven words to sum up four years of ceaseless torment that has driven him to the crossroads.

Lynn arrived back in Brisbane last night less than 24 hours after dislocating his right shoulder driving in the ninth over in Australia’s T20 match against New Zealand and was off for scans soon after.

The best-case scenario is minor manipulation and a return in April.
