STEALING

A WOMAN is accused of walking out of a Gold Coast store without paying for a trolley full of groceries.

Around 7.15pm on January 5, the woman shopped for groceries at Kristins Lane, Upper Coomera.

Police claim she left the shop via the fruit section without attempting to pay for the goods.

The woman is described as caucasian, about 168cm tall with a heavy build, light brown hair and aged in her 40-50s.

She has prominent tattoos on both shoulders, left arm and centre of her shoulder blades and was wearing a black singlet, black three-quarter pants and black thongs at the time of the incident.

A BIKE was taken from a fast-food store at Burleigh Heads while its owner used the toilet.

About 2.20am on January 1, three men went to the Gold Coast Highway store, where one of the men stole the bike.

The bike is a dark blue Apollo men’s hybrid mountain bike, with custom cruiser handle bars and a flashing rear red light.

Police would like to talk to the man pictured as he may have informatio­n about the incident.

He is described as caucasian, in his 20s, average height and build, with brown hair.

He has a tattoo on his right forearm and was wearing a striped T-shirt and baseball cap at the time.
