SUMMARY

A run of small surf throughout the forecast period with generally favourable winds early in the mornings. A slight lift in reinforced SE swell arrives tomorrow although winds are expected to rapidly shift into the SSE making for some unwanted lump.

TODAY

Ease in mid period SE swell under light winds early. 1 to 2ft+ with largest sets From Duranbah south. Wrapping clean early although only 1ft on the points.

WIND: Light inshore WNW winds at dawn prior to a shifting NE at 10 to 15 knots.

TOMORROW

Reinforced SE swell shows under freshening south tending SE winds. Ranging from 2 to 3ft at exposed beaches with possible larger sets from Duranbah south. Wrapping in at a clean 1 to 2ft on the Points. WIND: Light southerly inshore breezes early prior to a 15 to 20 knot SSE change in the morning.

SATURDAY

Mid period SE swell eases off under light winds early. Grading to 1 to 2ft+ at exposed beaches early, largest from Duranbah south.

WIND: Calm, light WNW tending NNE at 10 to 15 knots.

SUNDAY

Small left over SE swell combines with a minor rise in NE wind swell. Clean 1 to 2ft across exposed beaches, largest sets from Duranbah south.

WIND: NW at 5 to 10 knots tending NNE 10 to 20 knots

MONDAY

Distant east swell shows minor sets into the day. Clean 1 to 2ft across exposed beaches with possible inconsiste­nt 3ft sets later. WIND: NNW at 10 to 15 knots shifting NNE then easing later.
