Waging war on pay gap
TOP female executives are pocketing fat pay rises as companies take action to pay women as much as men.
A new report reveals that top-tier female managers earned $24,000 more last year, on average, whereas men took home $4000 less.
The Workplace Gender Equality Agency has found more than a third of Australian companies are analysing the gender pay gap. Companies that discovered they had been paying male executives more than females doing equivalent work gave the women a rise averaging $24,000.
