MOVEMENT AT MAWARRA SITE
THE building in central Surfers Paradise that for more than 40 years has been home to the Nicolinis Italian restaurant is believed poised to be served up to potential buyers.
The three-level office-retail property, called Mawarra, was built in 1970 on an 809sq m site on the corner of Surfers Paradise Blvd and Appel St.
It last changed hands in 1978 when Cliff and Teruko Sims paid $211,300, with the ownership of Mawarra transferred to Lena Heddle four years ago.
