The low pressure system is expected to shift slowly northwards over the northwestern interior, leading to a high to very high chance of showers and storms and locally heavy falls. The high to very high chance of showers and storms with possible heavy falls over the Peninsula and Gulf Country. A slight to medium chance of showers and storms over the far southwest. A cloud band extending from the low, over the northwestern interior, through the central west and into the remaining southern interior and southeast of the state will result in rain areas, showers and storms with some locally heavy falls likely. The slight to medium chance of showers and possible isolated storms over the remaining east coast, with showers more likely over the northeast tropical coast. Maximum temperatures will be generally cooler than average over western and southern districts. Mostly light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds, fresh and gusty near the low. Fire danger: very high over western parts of the North West district.
