THE Queen’s Baton has returned to Queensland and will hit outback towns Birdsville and Roma today.

Yesterday, the Queen’s Baton was transported to Cloncurry by the Royal Flying Doctor Service before visiting Mount Isa.

One of the batonbearers was 2017 Rodeo Queen of Australia Bessie Smits.
