A HOST of future Titans stars will show off their ability in Round 1 of the Intrust Super Cup this weekend.

Tweed have named a young but talented side, including four NRL contracted players, to take on the Norths Devils at Bishop Park on Sunday.

Alexander Brimson will make his senior debut at fiveeighth, while Kiah Cooper will take his place on the wing.

Teen prop Moeaki Fotuaika will lead the Seagulls’ forward pack along with lock Tony Matautia, who completes an impressive back-row with Lamar Liolevave and Hiale Roycroft on the edges.

Recruit Eli Levido has won the race to partner Brimson in the halves, forcing Lindon McGrady to an extended seven-man bench.

Tweed took the points at Bishop Park last April in a 34-28 scoreline.

For Burleigh, rookie Titans forward Jai Whitbread will come off the bench against Sunshine Coast on Saturday.

The Bears have an overflow of quality second-rowers with Hayden Schwass and Blake Leary beating ex-Titan Matt Robinson to starting jerseys.

The selection headache for Jimmy Lenihan could worsen yet with Joe Greenwood missing Gold Coast’s initial top 17. Jamie Dowling is unavailable this weekend but will soon add further competition for spots.

Kurtis Rowe has won first crack at fullback having jostled with Henare Wells for much of last season.
