Lehmann has Warner’s back

DAVID Warner’s leadership standing inside Australian cricket has not been diminished by the stairwell bustup that prompted calls for him to be suspended, coach Darren Lehmann has declared.

Match referee Jeff Crowe was set to hand down his verdict on Warner and South African sparring partner Quinton de Kock last night.

However, Lehmann has made it clear Warner’s credentials as vicecaptain remain unaffected after the off-field incident this week.
