NO-FUSS PROCTOR JUST GETS JOB DONE

- RHYS O’NEILL rhys.oneill@news.com.au

KEVIN Proctor knows winning.

Look at Melbourne. Look at his junior record.

Yep, fair to say that as good as his footy ability is, his know-how of getting the job done is an even bigger reason as to why the Titans forked out coin to get the forward in town.

Sure, last season’s drugs scandal damaged his reputation. Off the field.

On it, however, few can argue with his output.

Proctor is a winner because, and this is a trait familiar with most successful teams, he’s that bloke who gets the job done without fuss.

Every side needs one. The Titans won’t win the comp in 2018 – we know that.

Yet Proctor could yet prove to be the signing which sets in motion a revolution at the Gold Coast club.

Coach Garth Brennan has high hopes for this season, much of which will be based around the 29-year-old Kiwi.

Or, more to the point, not much will be centred on the Test star. See, Proctor will serve up what he does every other game. He’s a no-fuss man whom Brennan can take to the bank.

Others may own more sparkle but Proctor’s winning ability earns him No.3 on the Coast’s best NRL talents.
