New tickets released

UP to 40,000 more tickets for Commonwealth Games events have gone on sale with just 27 days until the Gold Coast’s biggest ever event begins.

GOLDOC chairman Peter Beattie revealed the new tickets would include seats at previously sold-out events, including swimming and athletics finals and Rugby Sevens and beach volleyball sessions.

“With the preparation of the venues now well advanced, we have been able to make adjustments to the build of temporary facilities, releasing previously unavailable seats,” he said.

Mr Beattie also announced GC2018 Fan Marketplace, an authorised ticket re-sale site powered by Ticketek, which allows spectators to list, sell and buy tickets.
