Tap girl is still critical

AN 11-year-old girl who suffered a severe electric shock from a garden tap at her family’s public housing property remained in a critical but stable condition last night.

Denishar Woods has been at Perth’s Princess Margaret Hospital since touching the tap at her property on Saturday night.

Doctors informed her family earlier this week she had sustained brain damage. WA’s electricity regulator believes the tragedy was likely caused by a fault in the neutral conductor supplying power to the property.
