If you are a cricketer or footy player etc. and if your reckless on or off-field antics bring the game into disrepute you are heavily punished. Likewise, if drug pushers, thieves and thugs break the law in such a heavily tourist reliant

city such as our GC, they should also be charged with ‘bringing our city into disrepute!’ and be banned/ostracised from residing here for a lengthy period of time, as they did in ancient and medieval times.

Re recent comment about the cost of Bruno Mars tickets. I totally agree. Equally as ridiculous is the $300 charge for Celine Dion. I wouldn’t pay a twenty to listen to her bark for a few hours! Jay Jamie Roberts

I received 2 tickets to Comm Games out of the 10 I originally applied for. Now they are writing to me to buy more tickets. What a joke? Because of their lack of transport/ parking options, it looks like I’ll have to take leave from work without pay. How can I afford more tickets now? Absolute idiots!
