Driver dies after crash

A DRIVER has died after hitting a number of parked cars and a power pole north-west of the Gold Coast.

The 26-year-old woman was driving through Beenleigh around 3.45am yesterday when the incident happened.

She was pronounced dead at the scene and police are investigat­ing what caused the crash.

Meanwhile, a boy is in a critical condition in hospital after being injured in a singlecar rollover west of Brisbane.

He was hurt when the car he was travelling in left the Warrego Hwy at Minden on Saturday night, with the car’s female driver also seriously injured while a male passenger sustained minor injuries.
