GOLD Coaster Corey Weyer and Murwillumbah product Dylan Wotherspoon have helped Australia claim the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in Malaysia.

The Kookaburras beat England 2-1 in the final yesterday, with youngster Lachlan Sharp netting a last-quarter goal to secure victory.

The result clinched Australia their 10th Azlan Shah Cup title and was an ideal preparation ahead of the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast next month.
