MARCH 19

It’s been rumoured that our obsession with Japanese whisky is sending the world into a wellaged whisky drought. Better get in quick then for the Yamagen Whisky Dinner presented by Suntory. Suntory is the No. 1 whisky distiller in Japan, known for its flagship single malt Yamazaki, Hakushu and the blended whisky Hibiki. Guests will have the chance to speak with the group’s confessed “whisky fanatic” Dan Woolley. Not only does Dan have the word WHISKY tattooed across his knuckles, he has a collection of more than 800 bottles at home. To match all that whisky wisdom, Yamagen’s executive chef Adam Lane has created a six-course menu paired with a selection of Suntory’s drops. Sample Sakura smoked ocean trout with Hakushu Distillers Reserve and wagyu beef sirloin MS6+ with Yamazaki 12 Year. Tickets are $99 per person. Bookings essential.
