Team dream goes on line

RACEWALKER Katie Hayward will have an eye on two major international assignments when she competes at the Australian Junior Athletics Championships this week.

The 17-year-old Gold Coaster will line up in the under-20 women’s 10km event in Sydney on Friday.

Victory would likely seal a spot on Australian teams for the World Under-20 Championships in Finland from July 10-15, as well as the World Racewalking Teams Championships in China on May 5-6.
