• 1,060,000 international visitors poured into the Gold Coast in 2017;

• It marks a new record for foreign tourism numbers and a four per cent jump on numbers in 2016;

• Foreign tourists spent $1.2 billion in 2017;

• In the past three years foreign tourists have climbed eight per cent.
