The Bulletin last week reported that Games Lanes, identified by yellow striped lines, had started appearing on major arterial roads across the Gold Coast.
While the lanes can be used by general motorists until their activation from March 30, they will then be for the exclusive use of accredited vehicles including Games shuttles, TransLink buses, police and emergency vehicles.
There will be no Games Lanes on the M1.
