“It was a beautiful celebratio­n, our children put on a party and invited all our old friends and we had lots of family there so it was just wonderful,” Desley said. THE Gold Coast Seniors Health and Lifestyle expo will he held across the city in different locations between now and November.

The first free expo will be held tomorrow at the Palm Beach Share N Care Centre.

Further expos will be held at Runaway Bay in May, Tweed Heads in July, Broadbeach in September and Southport in November.

Each expo will provide free informatio­n on eye sight and hearing checks, aged care, legal advice, funeral services, financial planning, Centrelink, seniors insurance and more.

Entry is free and expos are open from 9am until 1pm.
