Surprises in Roos squad

SOCCEROOS boss Bert van Marwijk is poised to give some new faces a chance to make a dramatic late World Cup run in his reduced squad to play this month’s friendlies against Norway and Colombia.

Czech-based defender Aleksandar Susnjar and new Urawa Reds signing Andrew Nabbout are believed to be in the squad – cut from 29 to 25 – which will assemble early next week in Oslo. Van Marwijk will reveal cuts today.
