GLANVILLE GLAMS IT UP FOR AFTER DARK SPECTACULAR

- KATE PARASKEVOS

WHEN singer Danielle Glanville is not behind her acoustic guitar writing songs, she’s the face of Dracula’s latest show Terrorbyte.

But now Ms Glanville is glamming it up to star in a new production, Diamonds After Dark, at HOTA tomorrow and Saturday.

The singer songwriter said this theatrical style of show, which features singing, dancing and aerial performers, was something new for her.

“My background is more in rock and I am a singer songwriter who usually gigs solo at pubs and weddings,” she said. “So this glamorous style of theatre is something I haven’t really done before, but I am having so much fun. It’s basically an extravaganza of all the magical things that happen after dark”.

The production is the brainchild of creator Dale Molloy who has developed the entire production himself, even sewing costumes by hand.

Diamonds After Dark runs at HOTA tomorrow at 7.30pm, and on Saturday at 2pm and 7.30pm. Tickets from $49.95.
