Preston Jr shows class

THE son of Titans legend Preston Campbell has made a flying start to the season.

Jayden, a winger or fullback, scored two tries for Burleigh in their big Mal Meninga Cup win over Sunshine Coast at the weekend.

Jayden is dual registered, starting the season in the under-18 comp with the Bears before returning to Helensvale for the remainder of the year.

Burleigh won all three grades – Intrust Super Cup, under-20s and under-18s – at Sunshine Coast Stadium in a good start to 2018.

Campbell Sr was the very first signing made by the Titans and played 103 games for the club, having made his NRL debut in 1998 for the Gold Coast Chargers.
