BAIT SCHOOLS THE X-FACTOR FOR BILLFISH

THE marlin are biting well at Spot X and areas holding bait in 80-100m of water. Dolphin fish and wahoo are around the bait schools too.

In the estuaries big mangrove jacks are taking lures and live bait and there are plenty of big muddies in the Nerang River.

Surf gutters along South Stradbroke Island are holding quality whiting.
