ALMOST half of Australia’s adults and a third of children fail to brush their teeth with fluoridated toothpaste twice a day, an alarming dental health report card says.
Australia’s Oral Health Tracker identifies tooth decay as the most common chronic disease in children and adults.
It estimates that more than a quarter of adults and children aged five to 10 have untreated tooth decay. The Oral Health Tracke sets “realistic” targets for improving oral health by 2025.
