FLASH GORDON REDISCOVERS LOVE ON THE FIELD

-

He has been training at fullback and, still only 28 years of age, is open to testing himself on the big stage once more.

“I’ll see how I go, how my body feels and I will go from there. If it pulls up all right, then I will go on to bigger things,” Kevin said.

“It could be (on the cards), a comeback.

“It’s a good way to stay fit, getting paid to stay fit. Because I am still acting and making music and that so if I can do that, I can work on my other stuff when I am not training.”

Dennis, 30, meanwhile is determined to make a lasting impact for rugby league in the Philippines.

“This tournament at the end of the year is a real stepping stone to nut out who is the best of the rest to tackle the big guns whenever it comes down to it.

“While we are young and fit enough, if we can make a name for ourselves as the Philippines and get them on the path to success, that would be great.

“I am 30 now, I don’t know how many years I have got left in me so I’d like to set that national team up as best I can.”

The Gold Coast Rugby League season will begin after the Commonwealth Games.
