Uni tied by bonds of union hope

BOND University director of rugby Luca Liussi says the club’s 2018 focus is on unearthing new talent that will take the Queensland Premier Rugby team to the next level.

Bond University held its season launch yesterday with more than 100 players, families, members and sponsors gathering ahead of the 2018 season.

Liussi, said the season launch was an opportunity to shine a spotlight on this year’s talent.

”As the only Gold

Coast club to compete in the Queensland Premier Rugby Competition, it is an incredible achievement for each and every athlete who has been selected to play this season,” Liussi said.

“This year, our focus is on the continued development of our players and our team, as well as unearthing some new talent to take the squad to the next level.

“I expect a strong season from both the colts and senior teams.”
