Royal cake goes organic

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding cake certainly breaks royal tradition.

On May 19 the royal couple will be tucking into an organic lemon and elderflower sponge which incorporates buttercream, fresh flowers and “the bright flavours of spring”.

And the honour of making it has fallen to California-born Claire Ptak, 43, of East London.
