Killer Uber was speeding

AN Uber car which became the first driverless vehicle to kill a pedestrian was speeding at the time of the collision.

And it was being supervised by a backup driver who had previously faced court for a traffic offence, it was revealed.

Safety driver Rafaela Vasquez could face charges over the death of the pedestrian victim, Elaine Herzberg.
