Rain delay halts finals

-

THE fate of Surfers Paradise’s Greater Brisbane League pennant push will be decided tonight after rain forced the postponement of the baseball championship decider.

The Bluewave were due to face five-time defending champions Windsor in game three of the grand final series at Carina last night, before the game was washed out.

The game will now played at 7.30pm tonight Carina’s Foley Field.

Windsor, who will be looking to become only the second team to win six straight GBL crowns, won game one 11-6 on Friday before Surfers levelled the series with a 5-4 victory on Sunday. be at
