VIP luxury beach bash
LONGINES Record Club is touted to be the VIP “place to be” over the Commonwealth Games.
The purpose-built, beachfront, no-expense-spared structure at Broadbeach has been a year in the making, with the Swiss luxury watch company promising to bring the glamour over the Games.
Gold Coast swimmer James Roberts is among the many already confirmed celebrities and personalities attending the LRC, and while winning gold is his priority, letting his hair down is a close second.
“Being right on the beach it looks incredible, it’s fantastic for the Gold Coast,” he said.
“After the swimming finishes it’s going to be incredible to be here and take it all in.”
