IN 80m of water offshore, the small black marlin are around in pretty good numbers.

Try either trolling or live baiting for them, and there are some dolphin fish and the odd wahoo around in the same area.

Good-sized mangrove jack have been caught in the Nerang River as well as quality whiting in the surf gutters.

Plenty of muddies and sand crabs are around too so get your pots in.
