Men struck in invasion

A SHOCKING home invasion has left two men injured at a Tweed Heads South unit.

The incident on Saturday morning began when three men forced their way into the unit, assaulting the first victim as he opened the front door.

One offender cinfronted the second victim, demanding to know the whereabouts of another man.

When told they didn’t know he punched the second victim in the face, injuring his nose.

Police say the man they were searching for has not lived there for several months.
