BRISBANE: A Queensland woman returned from a shopping trip to discover her home on fire and her partner and two of her three sons dead.

Sarah Bond arrived at her Kingaroy home at 1pm on Saturday to find her home engulfed in flames.

Bruce Fisher, 47, Connor Fisher, 2, and 11-month-old Bruce Fisher Jr died in the blaze, while Ms Bond’s fouryear-old son Zach has been released from hospital, authorities said.

Jason Killick Funerals released a statement on behalf of the family.

“I saw Sarah in hospital today, she is naturally in an extremely fragile state with fam ily at her side,” the statement said.

It’s understood Ms Bond was walking home when she saw her house ablaze.

Zach was saved by three men who smashed a window to get him out of the burning building.

Queensland Police Senior Sergeant David Tierney praised the men for saving the boy’s life.

“That was extremely brave what they did,” he said on Sunday.

The community offered tributes at the scene of the tragedy yesterday (pictured).
